EFT: How to Quickly Complete Disease History
A focused route for Therapist’s Disease History task — where the medical items spawn and how to bank progress safely.
Confirm the item list before you deploy
Find-in-raid medical tasks fail for administrative reasons far more often than tactical ones. The most common mistake is collecting items that do not carry the find-in-raid status, which makes them worthless for hand-in no matter how well the raid went.
Check the exact item names and quantities in the task screen, and confirm each one you pick up is marked correctly before you extract.
- Match item names exactly — variants do not count
- Verify find-in-raid status on each pickup
- Note the quantity so you stop at enough
Search medical spawns, not general loot
Medical items concentrate in predictable containers: medical bags, wall-mounted first-aid boxes, and the drug cabinets found in clinical rooms. Learning three or four reliable clusters beats sweeping an entire map.
Prioritise locations that hold several medical containers close together. Two rooms with four containers each will out-produce a long route across a map with better individual odds.
Extract early and bank what you have
Multi-item tasks reward incremental progress. Extracting with two of the required items is real progress; dying with all of them is none. Once you hold something the task needs, your risk tolerance should drop sharply.
If you find the last item early, leave immediately. There is no bonus for staying and the downside is losing everything you came for.
- Leave as soon as the raid stops being productive
- Treat quest items as unrecoverable if you die
- Stash progress between raids rather than hoarding
Stack it with a compatible objective
Medical collection pairs well with other looting tasks because both reward careful, quiet movement along a container route. It pairs badly with combat objectives that pull you toward contested ground.
If two tasks want opposite behaviour, run them separately. Splitting focus lowers your completion rate on both.

Why do my medical items not count for the task?
They are almost certainly missing the find-in-raid status, or they are a similarly named variant. Check each item in your stash before attempting hand-in.
Where do medical items spawn most reliably?
Medical bags, wall-mounted first-aid boxes, and clinical drug cabinets. Favour areas where several medical containers sit close together.
Should I finish the whole task in one raid?
No. Extract and bank partial progress whenever you can — dying with a full set returns nothing, while two items safely stashed is real progress.
